I purged a ton of books recently, but reread this one first. The Ford family name is certainly prominent in the mythology of 20th century American business culture.
While the story of 3 generations of Fords was by itself compelling, the account of several decades of company management (and mismanagement) styles by a number of Ford Motor Company executives is equally fascinating.
It’s springtime in North Texas, and that means plenty of interesting weather events. Check out the hail stone reported by one of our local news stations last week. Not the form of hail one typically thinks of (pea, marble, golf-ball, baseball, softball, etc.) when hearing descriptions about the size/shape from others.
This one is more like a biscuit!
I skipped the International Roofing Exposition this year; first time in a long while because of an interesting project I started last week.
It’s for a roof/waterproofing renovation of a building designed by an American icon and nestled in the foothills.
Because of its particular location, there are very cool vistas and some occasional unique visitors who show up unannounced.
One such visitor helped himself to the promenade reflecting pool for his own recreation.
Good thing I didn’t have any honey or berries with me.
Guess our paths may cross again in the future!
